“Gaslighting controversy” actress Seo Ye-ji celebrates her birthday ahead of her drama comeback

Actress Seo Ye-ji, who has been silent for a long time since the gaslighting controversy, revealed her current status in celebration of her birthday.

On April 6th, Seo Ye-ji’s agency – Gold Medalist posted several photos celebrating Seo Ye-ji’s birthday on their official Instagram account.

Gold Medalist revealed photos of gifts Seo Ye-ji received from fans through Instagram Story and additional videos of the gifts taken by Seo Ye-ji herself.

The actress drew attention as she expressed her gratitude by making finger hearts with one hand towards fans’ gifts in the released video.

Following the videos, photos of Seo Ye-ji standing between the gifts were uploaded together with phrases, such as “Thank you. I love you”, “I miss you”, which appear to be the actress’s messages to her fans. Seo Ye-ji stood next to the cake decorated with her name and smiled while staring straight at the camera.

Earlier, Seo Ye-ji was embroiled in a gaslighting controversy after she was revealed to have manipulated her ex-boyfriend, actor Kim Jung-hyun, with his acting activities. In addition to the gaslighting controversy, several suspicions, such as school violence, forgery of academic background, and abuse of power, were raised. Seo Ye-ji remained silent on this and recently released an apology through her agency.

Meanwhile, Seo Ye-ji is scheduled to make a comeback through the drama “Eve”.
