G-Dragon raised eyebrows with the vehicle he arrived in as he attended a police investigation
G-Dragon, who is facing allegations of drug use, appeared at the Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station, which houses the drug crime investigation office of the Incheon Police Agency, on November 6th to undergo questioning as a suspect.
G-Dragon appeared at the police station voluntarily rather than being summoned and confidently stood before the reporters.
Known as a fashion icon of the industry, G-Dragon has always garnered much attention for his trend-setting outfits. But yesterday, the focus was not only on his fashion but also on the car he arrived in.
When G-Dragon came for the police questioning, the car he arrived in was a BMW. This immediately caught people’s attention.
Previously, G-Dragon was appointed as the official ambassador for BMW’s ‘New XM.’ However, with recent allegations of drug use, BMW decided to partially take down videos related to G-Dragon.
Since G-Dragon consistently claims innocence regarding the drug use allegations, his decision to calmly arrive at the police station in a BMW is interpreted as a sign of confidence in his innocence.
The car that G-Dragon arrived in was the BMW ‘i7 xDrive 60’ model. G-Dragon slowly approached the press line while driving the ‘i7 xDrive 60’ car. After stopping, he waited in the car for over a minute before getting out. He received security personnel’s signature and then exited the car.
On a side note, the BMW ‘i7 xDrive 60’ model is a pure electric sedan. BMW has shown strong confidence in the i7 series, saying that it sets a new standard for luxury pure electric driving. The price of the ‘i7 xDrive 60’ is reported to be over $152,000.
