G-Dragon gifts expensive sneakers to staff on 27th anniversary of YG’s founding 

Despite his exclusive contract with YG having expired, BIGBANG G-Dragon still takes good care of the company’s employees. 

In celebration of the 27th anniversary of YG Entertainment’s founding, BIGBANG member G-Dragon has shown a generous heart by gifting expensive sneakers, which is from his collaboration with Nike, to the agency’s employees.

G-Dragon’s kind action, despite not having renewed his exclusive contract with YG, has become a hot topic. 

On the other hand, previously on June 5th, YG Entertainment revealed that G-Dragon’s exclusive contract with the agency has expired. The company, however, added that they are still cooperating with G-Dragon through a separate contract for other activities such as advertising, and that additional contracts will be further discussed when G-Dragon resumes his music activities. 

“YG Entertainment will dedicate our full support”, they also affirmed.

On the other hand, G-Dragon joined hands with Nike and recently introduced a new model for his sneaker line, Kwondo, following the first model’s release in December 2021.
