G-Dragon Designed Magazine Cover for Galaxy CEO Choi Yong-ho P

On January 26, Fortune Korea will release its February edition with Galaxy Corp CEO, Choi Yong-ho, as the face of the cover. It is also reported that G-Dragon designed this magazine cover.

The cover, designed by G-Dragon, features daisy flowers with missing petals throughout, even in the Fortune logo. Daisy flowers symbolize “peace and hope” and the daisy flowers with missing petals are associated with G-Dragon’s fashion brand “Peaceminusone”. Additionally, these flowers were arranged on the cover in a manner that resembles stars in the universe, aligning with the meaning of “Galaxy”.

On top of this, a QR code hidden in the daisy flowers at the bottom right of the cover allows access to a video version of the cover personally designed by G-Dragon.

Meanwhile in his interview with Fortune Korea, Galaxy CEO Choi Yong-ho shared details about G-Dragon’s recruitment and the reasons for the male idol’s visit to CES in Las Vegas in December last year..

On the other hand, the collaboration between Fortune Korea and G-Dragon began in December, when Editor-in-Chief Yoo Bu-hyuk proposed the cover design idea to G-Dragon, who accepted.

G-Dragon also expressed his happiness in participating in the cover design, stating, “I worked with a joyful heart to contribute to an interview that encapsulates the vision and dreams of my new agency, Galaxy Corporation.”

“Designing the cover of the longest-running major U.S. economic magazine founded in 1930 is an honor”, he also added.
