“I only saw fans”, said Baek Jiheon from girl group fromis_9
On the July 1st episode of KBS2’s “Music Bank”, the music show MCs IVE Jang Wonyoung and ENHYPEN Sunghoon could be seen interviewing girl group fromis_9, who was promoting their new song.
In particular, the group recently released the new title “Stay This Way”, and shared about their song with the MCs.
However, after the brief interview ended, Baek Jiheon, a member of fromis_9, lingered on the set, unlike her members who quickly left. This small action started to spark discussion on various online communities and YouTube channels, with some netizens suspecting that Baek Jiheon was staying to see Sunghoon, leading to dating rumors between the two.
The issue started to gain popularity among the net, and it seemed that Baek Jiheon has heard of it. The female idol then went on the fan platform Weverse to publish a post which indirectly clears up the dating rumors, saying:”During the interview, I had so much fun with Saerom unnie and Nakyung unnie. I only saw Flover, let’s only see each other.”
Flover is the fanclub name of fromis_9, while Sareom and Nakyung are Jiheon’s group members. Therefore, Jiheon is implying that she did not have eyes for ENHYPEN Sunghoon by any means.
fromis_9 recently made a comeback on June 27th with the release of their 5th mini album “From our Memento Box”. Their comeback showcase was unfortunately canceled due to 5 out 9 members suffering from injuries following a car accident.
