Popular K-pop idols are gathering to make this hot summer even hotter.
fromis_9 is releasing their first full-length album, “Unlock My World,” on June 5th. This is their first album in about a year since the release of their mini 5th album last June.
This album includes a total of 10 songs, including the title track “#menow,” which showcases a diverse musical style. The members themselves participated in the lyrics and composition. Bang Si Hyuk also contributed as a songwriter for the 7th track, “Bring It On.”
The title track, “#menow,” carries a message of wanting to get closer to someone by showing an unadorned and honest side of oneself. It is a song that combines a sophisticated and contemporary rhythm with a strong addictive chorus and rich vocal harmonies.
fromis_9, who has already made a mark in the summer music scene with songs like “We Go,” “DM,” and “Stay This Way,” is expected to solidify their position as the Summer Queen with “#menow.”
NCT Taeyong is making his solo debut with his first mini album, “SHALALA,” which will be released on June 5th.
This album is Taeyong’s first solo album released in seven years since his debut. Taeyong personally participated in every aspect of the album, from the planning stage to the final production, and his name appears in the credits for all the songs.
As he put effort into creating music that everyone can relate to by reflecting on his personal stories and looking at the world around him, the unique sensibility that Taeyong will showcase in his first solo album is worth looking forward to.
Including the title track “SHALALA,” Taeyong’s first solo album also features songs like “Ruby,” “404 File Not Found,” where Taeyong honestly expresses his emotions during difficult times, and “Back to the Past,” which looks back at the past and encourages moving forward. These songs that depict Taeyong’s personal stories add sincerity to the album.
The title track, “SHALALA,” is an impressive hip-hop song with rhythmic percussion and weighty drums. Kang Daniel will release the pre-release song “WASTELAND” from his new album “Realize” on June 7th.
The pre-release song was recorded entirely in English. The new album “Realize” includes the meanings of ‘REAL,’ ‘LIE,’ and ‘REALIZE.’
