“From 300,000 won to 600 million won”… The “Street Woman Fighter” dancer who made a fortune in business
Simeez, the youngest member of dance team Lachica, revealed her life as a businesswoman.
Channel A’s “Wealthy People” (literal translation), which aired on April 2nd, introduced the story of Simeez, who became the CEO of a brand with annual sales of 600 million won through her shoe business.

Team Lachica, who caused a dance craze close to syndrome in 2021, is a representative dance team in Korea that created numerous addictive point dances by participating in the choreography production of K-pop singers such as BoA, Hyoyeon, Chungha, Twice and aespa.

However, Simeez had another job. It was the shoe business. Although it has only been 4 years since it was launched in Korea, it has been receiving constant love calls not only from department stores but also from overseas.

On the show, Simeez said, “I got a lot of questions from dance students like ‘Where do you buy heels?’ I felt uncomfortable introducing shoes to students just because I wore them. So, if this is the case, I thought I would make it and sell it properly.”

She added, “The initial capital was 300,000 won. It was good. I went to Dongdaemun Market and found it by thoughtlessly trying on decent shoes. At first, I took a picture of it with my cell phone camera and uploaded it. As orders increased, I thought I should do various developments so that I wouldn’t disappoint customers, and I requested design in earnest.”
