Former MONSTA X member Wonho makes a sudden announcement that he is enlisting this December 

Wonho prepared a letter to his fans to announce his enlistment. 

On November 15th, Highline Entertainment, Wonho’s agency, said, “Wonho will enlist as a public service worker from December 5, 2022 and fulfill his military duty.“

Following his agency’s stance, Wonho also delivered a sincere letter through his fancafe ahead of his enlistment.

Wonho said, “I am obliged to do national defense. I hope that we can spend these days happily while waiting for the day we will meet again.“

In addition, he conveyed consolation to the fans who would be sad, saying, “I will prepare a lot of things so that you will not be bored, so I hope you spend these times happily while waiting for the day we will meet again while doing things that you have not been able to do in the past.“

Every day with Wenees until now, We’ve built up so many memories together. I’ll prepare a lot of things so you won’t be bored.

I hope Wenees will do things you haven’t been able to do in the past, taking it easy.

You are celebrating the first Christmas without me since we met.

Winter passes and spring comes.

Season after season passed, the following summer, the day I sang to Wenees for the first time.

On the same day, I’ll come to Wenees as wonderfully as that very day.
