Former MOMOLAND member Taeha and her drastically changed appearance left netizens shocked
A recent video of former MOMOLAND member Taeha has been spreading across the net.
Recently, a video which shows Taeha, a former member of Kpop girl group MOMOLAND, dancing to the hit “Boom Boom”, became a hot topic among netizens. In particular, Taeha was performing at the debut showcase of her company’s new artist, and decided to go for a hit from her former group. However, she was barely recognizable in the video due to her added weights.
Previously, when Taeha was still promoting as MOMOLAND, the idol was known for her perfect physique and overwhelming energy. Now though, the slim body in the past was gone, and her legs and waist have both grown rounder.
According to fans, Taeha’s change was due to her no longer having to endure strict diets, seeing that she’s no longer a girl group member. In addition, Taeha has always gained weight easily, as shown in old photos with MOMOLAND. She was only able to achieve the ideal physique with a lot of effort, strict eating regimes, and extensive exercises.
Taeha used to participate in the popular survival show “Produce 101”, but was eliminated after the first round with her 50th ranking. In April 2017, she was added to the girl group MOMOLAND, only to halt her activities soon after over “health concerns”. According to fans, the idol was largely ignored by her own agency.
Taeha officially departed from MOMOLAND and MLD Entertainment in November 2019, and joined Inter B.D Entertainment to promote as a solo artist. While her career wasn’t massively successful, the idol did attain several achievements, including the Rising Star Award from LBMA Star.
Since 2020, Taeha has been focusing on her personal YouTube channel, where she published song covers. The former MOMOLAND member drew attention with her edition of Rosé’s “On The Ground”, though she received mixed reactions towards her singing abilities.
In March 2021, Taeha once again became a hot topic with her appearance in “Miss Trot 2”, earning strong praise for her intense musical abilities.
Looking at their idol now, fans of Taeha during her time with MOMOLAND couldn’t help but express regrets, wishing that Taeha will once again regain her old physique and get more opportunities for future developments.
