Chuu, a former LOONA member, recently concluded her first solo U.S. tour on a successful note
On December 18 (Korean time), Chuu wrapped up her “2023 Howl in USA” tour with the final performance in Dallas. Opening with a dazzling performance in Los Angeles on the 2nd, Chuu held solo concerts in six major U.S. cities, including Oakland, Washington D.C., New York, Atlanta, and Dallas, connecting with local fans.
During the tour, Chuu presented stages of songs from her 1st solo album “Howl”, which included the title track “Howl” as well as newly arranged versions of songs like “My Palace,” “Underwater,” and “Hitchhiker.” With her strong vocal skills and delicate sensibility, she delivered high-quality performances.
Additionally, Chuu captured the hearts of fans on-site by performing popular songs like “Comethru,” which she harmonized with Jeremy Zucker on a broadcast last year, as well as a cover stage of Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off.”
Reflecting on the U.S. tour, Chuu expressed her gratitude, saying, “Even though it was a short period, I enjoyed performing on stage and meeting local fans abroad. They were truly precious and happy moments. I sincerely thank KKOTI (Chuu’s official fan club name) who cheered me with big applause. The next time I meet you, I want to repay the energy and love I received with even better stages.”
Meanwhile, Chuu’s first solo mini-album “Howl” demonstrated its global influence by topping the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart for two consecutive days.
