Former INFINITE member Hoya, “My older brother did CPR to save my younger brother, who had a cardiac arrest. I started to believe in God since then”

Hoya told the story about his family, which made him believe in God.

In episode 361 of JTBC’s entertainment program “Knowing Bros”, which aired on December 10th, Yoon Si Yoon, the main character actor of the movie “Birth”, which depicts the life of Saint Kim Taegon, and former INFINITE member Hoya transferred to Brother School.

On the broadcast, Hoya shared, “I used to be an atheist, but now I believe in the existence of God”.

Regarding the reason, he said, “A few years ago, my younger brother was sleeping and he had a cardiac arrest. Noticing his face didn’t look good, his girlfriend tried to wake him up. Since he didn’t wake up, she called my older brother, saying my younger brother looked strange.”

“My older brother went to my younger brother’s house and did CPR then took him to the hospital. I heard the golden time for patients with cardiac arrest is 4 minutes. It must have been more than 4 minutes since my brother was found unconscious. There was a high possibility that he would die, and even if he woke up, he would not be the same as before. We were told to prepare our minds”, he continued.

Hoya said, “We waited unconsciously, and my brother got back to normal and is living well”, adding “The reason is that my older brother arrived in 4 minutes and did CPR according to the standard procedure. I heard he was a CPR assistant when he was in the military. I started to believe in the existence of God from then on.”
