“Forecasting Love and Weather”: The reason why Park Min-young proposed living together with Song Kang
Jin Ha-kyung (Park Min-young) made a proposal to Lee Shi-woo (Song Kang) to live together in “Forecasting Love and Weather”.
In episode 6 of JTBC’s “Forecasting Love and Weather” which aired on Feb 27th, Jin Ha-kyung and Lee Shi-woo resolved misunderstandings. Jin Ha-kyung and Lee Shi-woo felt a little down after coming across each other at the motel.
When Jin Ha-kyung said “Let’s think about it” as if she was about to leave, Lee Shi-woo revealed that he went to the motel because of his father, who was obsessed with gambling. In fact, Lee Shi-woo had a father who was addicted to gambling and demanded money every time.
Lee Shi-woo’s father accidentally overheard Jin Ha-kyung and Lee Shi-woo’s conversation in front of the motel that day, and realized that the two were lovers. Lee Shi-woo’s father met Jin Ha-kyung and asked Jin Ha-kyung for money, saying, “Please lend me some money.” When Lee Shi-woo learned that his father had met Jin Ha-kyung, he immediately went to see Jin Ha-kyung and apologized.
Then Jin Ha-kyung confessed to Lee Shi-woo that her father had hung himself at home due to bankruptcy in the past, and that she had witnessed it. Jin Ha-kyung comforted Lee Shi-woo, “I had such a father too. So, I hope you don’t have a hard time with your father.”
She asked, “Can you promise me just one thing? If you change your mind, tell me first. Even if your heart is shaken, please tell me first. Of course, it’s so sad that your mind changes, but what’s more heartbreaking than that is what I go through without knowing. Promise me you won’t be like my father, like Han Ki-joon.”
When Lee Shi-woo replied “I promise”, Jin Ha-kyung suggested living together, “Then let’s stay together. I want to be with you. Let’s stay here together.” The appearance of Jin Ha-kyung trying to hug Lee Shi-woo, who has a heartbreaking family history with a father with a gambling addict father, touched viewers greatly.
As the relationship between Jin Ha-kyung and Lee Shi-woo strengthened, the relationship between Chae Yoo-jin (Yura) and Han Ki-joon (Yoon Park) began to falter. In a situation where marriage registration was required for a lease loan, Chae Yoo-jin suggested to Han Ki-joon to postpone the marriage registration, making viewers predict whether she was holding any troubles.
