A male actor will become the new MC of KBS2’s “Music Bank” and work together with IVE Jang Won Young
On September 23rd, JTBC reported that actor Lee Chae Min will become the 38th male MC of KBS2’s “Music Bank”, and will work side by side with Jang Won Young starting with a live broadcast on September 30th.
Regarding this decision, the production team of “Music Bank” said, “There were many actors and idols who were aiming for the MC position, but we highly evaluated Lee Chae Min’s potential”.
“Lee Chae Min is 189cm tall and has a warm visual that won’t be outshined even while standing next to Jang Won Young, who is famous for her outstanding height,” they also added.
The MC of “Music Bank” is a place that many famous male actors have assumed, to the extent that is also called “the door for rising stars”. Previous MCs of this show include many household names, such as Ji Sung, Nam Goong Min, Ji Hyun Woo, Song Joong Ki, Park Seo Joon, Park Bo Gum, and more.
Meanwhile, Lee Chae Min debuted in the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama “High Class” last year, and in April, drew attention with the KBS2 drama “Love All Play”. He recently finished filming for the movie “Us, Day by Day” with famous actress Kim Sae Ron.
