Following the apology letter written on the 6th, Han Seo-hee’s second appellate trial to be held on April 8

The appeal trial of Han Seo-hee, who is accused of administering methamphetamine while on probation, will resume today (8th).

On the 8th, under the supervision of the Suwon District Court’s 3-2 Appeal Department, the second trial of the appeal trial will be held on Han Seo-hee‘s alleged violation of the Narcotics Control Act.

Han Seo-hee, who attended the trial held earlier, pleaded not guilty to taking methamphetamine in the second trial following the first trial. While pleading not guilty, she submitted a letter of apology to the court on the 31st of last month and the 6th of this month.

Han Seo-hee was sentenced to one year and six months in prison in the first trial after being charged with taking methamphetamine in November last year and was arrested in court. Shortly after the sentence, Han Seo-hee reportedly caused a disturbance by swearing at the judge at the trial. Han Seo-hee walked out with a harsh attitude not only to the judge but also to other employees.

However, the prosecution indicted Han Seo-hee in connection with drug use charges. Han Seo-hee‘s criminal behavior revealed in the first trial was that she administered methamphetamine in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do around early June 2020. Han Seo-hee was found guilty and sentenced to prison by the court.

Attention is now focused on whether Han Seo-hee will be able to prove her innocence in the second trial.
