Following private life scandal, Cai Xukun got banned

On July 1st, Sohu reported that the name of Cai Xukun has been removed from entertainment shows he had participated in, such as “Youth With You 2” (as a host), “Keep Running” (a regular member), along with several other programs the male singer had planned to join. Currently, the number of Cai Xukun’s works displayed on Douban’s page is 0. This is considered a ban on the male artist following a love scandal.

According to Sohu, since the scandal broke out on June 26th, Cai Xukun has remained silent. The male singer is also facing various other accusations, including having children with three different women and engaging in relationships with underage girls. These accusations are detrimental to his career and may even lead to legal issues, but he still insists on remaining silent.

Sohu’s analysis states that, up to this point, Cai Xukun has not shown any signs of violating the law, so the art management agencies cannot publicly condemn the male artist. However, he is considered an artist with a questionable personal life, moral stains, and is not allowed to appear on television.

Cai Xukun is involved in a moral scandal, which is why he faces a ban.

On the evening of June 30th, the “Keep Running” show featuring Cai Xukun suddenly had to postpone its airing. According to Sohu, the program was affected by Cai Xukun’s personal life scandal.

Cai Xukun, born in 1998, was once the most famous male idol in China. He was ranked among the top-tier celebrities —those with the highest commercial value, a large and enthusiastic fan base, and the most media attention.

His singing career brought him great success even before he turned 19. He was a fashion darling, participated in the Met Gala 2023, and collaborated with various major brands such as Prada, and the diamond company De Beers.

However, the male singer could lose everything at the age of 25 due to personal troubles. He might follow the same path as his seniors like Kris Wu and Li Yifeng.
