Fire at “M Countdown” filming location: aespa cancels comeback stage pre-recording
A fire broke out on the set of "M Countdown", leading to the cancellation of aespa's pre-recording schedule for their comeback stage
According to multiple broadcast insiders, the fire occurred on the morning of May 16th at a filming studio inside the CJ ENM Center in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The accident was reportedly caused by a problem on the filming set.
As a result of this accident, aespa members, including Winter, who recently suffered from pneumothorax, reported feeling unwell. Consequently, aespa’s pre-recording schedule for their comeback stage was canceled.
Aespa was scheduled to perform the double title track “Supernova” from their first full-length album (released on May 13th) on “M Countdown” that day. The resumption of recording is yet to be determined.
