“FIFTY FIFTY’s agency” Attrakt joins hands with JTBC to launch audition program for new girl group

FIFTY FIFTY’s agency Attrakt is teaming up with JTBC to launch an audition program for their new girl group

According to sources on Oct 25th, Attrakt’s CEO Jeon Hong-joon will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a girl group audition program with JTBC on Oct 26th. This MOU will be attended by Attrakt’s CEO Jeon Hong-joon and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Choi Seung-ho.

Regarding the rookie girl group project, CEO Jeon Hong-joon said, “We feel the responsibility to continue creating new content for the company’s future, as well as for the investors who trust the company and for the staff who are working hard on site. We will move forward step by step with various projects, including the new girl group.

Attrakt will unveil specific audition schedules sequentially.

Attrakt’s CEO Jeon Hong-joon is known for producing FIFTY FIFTY, which set new records for K-pop girl groups with their song “CUPID”. “CUPID” made notable achievements, including entering the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Charts. FIFTY FIFTY was hailed as a “miracle of small and medium-sized agencies”. However, the team’s activities have been suspended due to an exclusive contract dispute.

CEO Jeon Hong-joon aims to create an entirely new team through the upcoming audition program. In particular, the project will focus on the keyword “public pick”, planning to build a fandom even before the group’s debut.

There is a growing interest in whether Attrakt can recreate the “miracle of small and medium-sized agencies” with this audition project.
