Female Soloists’ Comeback Competition In March: Chungha, Wendy, YooA & Kim Nam-joo
The comeback battle between female solo singers, such as Chungha, Wendy, YooA, etc., has finally begun
First of all, Chungha will be the first to enter the competition by releasing her new single “Eenie Meenie” at 6 p.m. on March 11th. This is her comeback after two years and “Eenie Meenie” is expected to express Chungha’s growth and concerns in music as well as her mature charm.
The title track of the same name “Eenie Meenie” contains Chungha’s ambitious declaration that she is ready to show how much she has grown and developed herself to the next level after a long hiatus through the impressive message, “I’ll go my own way and never be shaken or stop in any situations”. Red Velvet member Wendy will introduce her second mini album “Wish You Hell” at 6 p.m. on March 12th and showcase the diverse charms of her beautiful voice. This is Wendy’s new music release in April 2021 2 years and 11 months after her first mini album “Like Water”.
Wendy is expected to captivate global music fans with a high-quality album filled with outstanding singing abilities and unique sensibilities that she has never shown before. Oh My Girl’s YooA is determined to express her hidden charm with her first single “Borderline”, which will be released at 6 p.m. on March 14th.
Earlier, YooA already completed imprinting her identity with a dreamy and girly vibe through her solo debut song “Bon Voyage” and her second mini album “SELFISH”. This time, she plans to unveil her unrivaled charisma and chic atmosphere through the comeback title song “Rooftop”. Fans are looking forward to the new musical attempt of YooA, who has grown into an all-rounder solo singer equipped with all skills, from vocal to visual and performance, in this comeback.
Lastly, Apink’s Namjoo (Kim Nam-joo) will present her second solo single “BAD” at 6 p.m. on the 18th. “Bad” is Namjoo’s first solo release in more than four years so she actively participated in the concept planning and production process to show her music color better. Namjoo’s confident attitude and aura have been clearly expressed through the concept photos released earlier. As such, fans are waiting for her comeback day to listen to “BAD”.
