3 ex-FIFTY FIFTY members, shabby betrayal ending “Attrakt not guilty of breach of trust, Ahn Sung-il guilty”

The prospect of three former FIFTY FIFTY members facing the consequences of betrayal looms large

FIFTY FIFTY’s agency Attrakt announced on March 11th, “Attrakt received notice from the Seoul Gangnam Police Station recently stating that the accusation of breach of trust by three former FIFTY FIFTY members was not forwarded (no charges).

Former FIFTY FIFTY members Saena, Sio and Aran filed a lawsuit against Attrakt’s CEO Jeon Hong-joon on August 17th last year on charges of breach of trust. However, the police reported no charges against CEO Jeon and decided not to pursue the case.

An internal official from Attrakt stated, “The company’s policy is to hold the tampering force that has misled members who do not understand the accounting principles of corporate funds and instigated them to the extent of filing charges accountable until the end.”

The “tampering force” pointed out by Attrakt refers to The Givers’ CEO Ahn Sung-il.

Attrakt has been suspicious of Ahn Sung-il, among others, as external forces since last year when three former FIFTY FIFTY members began a dispute over the exclusive contract. Attrakt publicly disclosed evidence while also filing civil and criminal lawsuits against Ahn Sung-il.

Ahn Sung-il countered with a claim of “baseless accusations”, but the police sent him to the prosecution for charges of obstruction of business and damage to electronic records. Additionally, investigations into charges of embezzlement, forgery of private documents and use of forged documents are ongoing, along with a lawsuit for damages amounting to 1 billion won.
