Fans ask Kim Sae Ron to be honest with the police and reflect on her mistakes in light of DUI accident

Kim Sae Ron’s fans expressed disappointment in the actress after she was booked for DUI. 

Earlier today (May 18th), Kim Sae Ron was arrested by the police for causing a car accident while driving under the influence of alcohol and not stopping afterwards. The incident took place at Gangnam District, Seoul at around 8 am KST on May 18. Specifically, Kim Sae Ron inflicted extensive property damage by crashing several times into guardrails, street trees, a roadside transformer, and traffic light poles, resulting in large congestion. Many restaurants nearby reportedly could not make electronic payments. At the time of the accident, Kim Sae Ron was said to be so intoxicated that she was unable to speak coherently. 

After reports of Kim Sae Ron’s DUI surfaced, the actress’ fan gallery made an announcement on the online community site DC Inside, saying, “We are heartbroken after hearing the news. We hope Kim Sae Ron will faithfully engage in police investigation and be punished accordingly. Kim Sae Ron has a clear and profound sense of her belief and value. If she admits her mistake and reflects, her sincerity will be recognized by the public.”

In addition, Kim Sae Ron’s management agency Gold Medalist has also addressed what happened. They stated, “Kim Sae Ron underwent a blood test at the hospital to get the most accurate results. After completing, Sae Ron returned home with her guardian. She will cooperate honestly with the police investigation.”
