As health problems once again disrupted Jeongyeon’s activities, fans’ concerns about her health condition are mounting. A week before TWICE’s comeback in June last year with the 9th mini-album “MORE & MORE”, Jeongyeon had to undergo surgery because of a herniated disc in her neck. She also suspended her activities in October and August of the same year due to panic disorder.

On the 12th of last month, Jeongyeon resumed her activities with TWICE’s 3rd full album “Formula of Love: O+T=<3”, but this time she had to suffer from malicious comments criticizing her appearance as she seemed to have gained some weight compared to the past. It was then revealed that Jeongyeon gained weight while taking medicine to cure her neck disc and anxiety disorder.
