Fans Allege Jungkook Receives Special Treatment from BIGHIT for Solo Project

On July 22nd, many ranking accounts made predictions based on ranking data for Billboard’s ‘Hot 100’ for the upcoming week. They all predicted that Jungkook would make history with his first solo song, expecting it to top the Billboard “Hot 100” chart. Achieving this significant milestone would be a momentous event for both Jungkook as a solo artist and BTS as a group.

However, alongside the achievements of his first solo project, the youngest member of BTS is facing accusations from some fans who claim that he is receiving preferential treatment in terms of marketing and promotion compared to other BTS members. The initial post was made on a popular site. Nevertheless, the opinion garnered attention from the fandom, with over 1200 comments under the post along with comparative charts.

The writer originally accused Jungkook of being the only member to receive pre-orders on iTunes, advertising on radio stations in the US and the UK, as well as billboards worldwide. He/she also alleged that while all other members were only promoted on Melon or Spotify, Jungkook received advertising on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

As of now, BTS’s management company has not issued any response to these allegations.
