Fact Check: Did TWICE’s Jihyo and Yoon Sung-bin Dated After Appearing On “I Live Alone”?

TWICE’s Jihyo and Yoon Sung-bin were rumored to be dating due to a media outlet’s report on March 25. However, Jihyo’s agency, JYP Entertainment, declined to make a comment, saying, “It is difficult to confirm this as it is a private life matter. We ask for your understanding.”

There is a constant interest from the public in Jihyo and Yoon Sung-bin, as they either affirm or deny the dating rumor. Since the two used to appear as rainbow members on MBC’s program “I Live Alone,” some speculated that they might date after meeting at this program.

However, Jihyo and Yoon have never appeared on the same space together while participating in “I Live Alone.” Yoon and Jihyo appeared on the same episode in October last year, but they did not meet each other.

According to the broadcast, both Yoon Sung-bin and Jihyo appeared in the studio, but they were not together. When Yoon Sung-bin’s episode was broadcast in the early part of the show, only Yoon Sung-bin appeared in the studio, and when Jihyo and her sister’s story was aired in the second half, only Jihyo appeared in the studio to talk about it.

Although they did not appear together, the studio recording is assumed to have taken place on the same day. Other cast members such as Jeon Hyun-moo, Park Na-rae, and Code Kunst appear in the same clothes in Yoon Sung-bin and Jihyo’s parts, so the speculation that “I Live Alone” is where they first met continues.
