According to SpoTV News on Jan 9th, Cha Eun-woo is currently preparing for his first solo album, with a target release in the first half of the year.
This marks Cha Eun-woo’s solo debut about 8 years after ASTRO’s debut in 2016. Taking into account his appearance in the movie “My Brilliant Life” before ASTRO’s debut, it has been about a decade since he first met the public.
Well-loved both as a member of ASTRO and as an actor, often referred to as “Face Genius”, Cha Eun-woo is determined to showcase his outstanding capabilities as a solo artist with his first solo album. There are rumors that he is putting great effort into creating a high-quality album, with a goal to release it in the first half of the year.
Cha Eun-woo will perform the songs expected to be included in his first solo album for the first time through the Asia fan-con tour “2024 Just One 10 Minute – Mystery Elevator” starting with the concert at the Jamsil Arena, Seoul on Feb 17th.
Recently, Cha Eun-woo has been actively engaged in acting. MBC’s drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog” starring him is approaching its end on Jan 10th, and he will continue to meet small-screen viewers with MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Wonderful World”, scheduled to air in March.
With the confirmation of his solo debut in the first half of the year, it is expected that the onslaught of “Face Genius” who captures both the singer and actor realms will continue.
