In an interview with local media, Thai film producer Panu said, “The reason BTS and BLACKPINK succeeded in the US is not just because they dance in hanbok or play traditional Korean instruments, but because they reflect creativity that fits with popular culture.” He added that it is important to build a platform where both government support and the private sector can participate.
