Actress Joo Hyun Young recently had a photoshoot and interview with AtStyle.
On September 1st, AtStyle released a pictorial and interview of Joo Hyun Young with derma cosmetic brand Tokobo. The photos emphasize Joo Hyun Young’s fresh and lovely charm.
In the interview with AtStyle, Joo Hyun Young, who recently completed her role as Dong Geurami in “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, revealed that she herself created the viral “to the” greeting that she did with Park Eun Bin in the drama.
Joo Hyun Young said BIGBANG was her inspiration to come up with the greeting. She said, “When I was in school, the line ‘B to the A to the Bang Bang’ was popular, so I sang along to it a lot, and I was inspired to make it.”
Regarding the great chemistry between the cast of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, Joo Hyun Young said, “It was amazing how we could meet people whom we like so much in one work. Our humor codes match well with one another.”
Next, when asked who the “gag character” among the cast is, Joo Hyun Young picked Ha Yoon Kyung and said, “The funnier person than me is ‘Spring Sunshine’ (Ha Yoon Kyung). She’s really funny behind the scenes. When I talk to her, I laugh while grabbing my belly.”
Joo Hyun Young also showed a special affection for Park Eun Bin, who plays her best friend in the drama. She said, “Every time Eun Bin finished one scene, everyone gave her a standing ovation. Her memorization ability is incredible. I learned a lot from watching her act. I felt very lucky to be able to work with her.”
When asked what kind of character she would like to play next, Joo Hyun Young said, “Honestly, I’m not sure. I’ve shown off all of my personal talents one by one. Everyone asks if there are any more, but I’m really worried that there aren’t any.”
Contrary to the cheerful “insider” image of her character, Joo Hyun Young revealed that she was unexpectedly a quiet student during her school days.
Joo Hyun Young said, “When I was in school, my classmates said that they were very surprised when they saw me on TV. They said when I was in school, I was very quiet and had a true image of a normal student.”
