“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” last episode: Park Eun-bin becomes a full-time attorney and continues to date Kang Tae-oh

“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” has ended.

In the last episode of ENA’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” (written by Moon Ji-won/ directed by Yoo In-sik), which aired at 9 p.m on August 18th, the story about the leaking of large online shopping mall Raon’s customer information continued.

On the broadcast, the person who hacked Raon was revealed. The real hacker was found out to be Tae Soo-mi (Jin Kyung)’s son Choi Sang-hyun (Choi Hyun-jin). Choi Sang-hyn felt guilty so he confessed his crime to Tae Soo-mi. However, Tae Soo-mi tried to cover up Choi Sang-hyun’s hacking crime because she was right ahead of her justice minister confirmation hearing.

Woo Kwang-ho (Jeon Bae-soo) told Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin) about Han Sun-young (Baek Ji-won)’s opinion and Woo Young-woo also confessed that she was recruited by Tae Soo-mi. Woo Kwang-ho said he was worried that it might be better for Woo Young-woo to go to the U.S than to live under the name “Tae Soo-mi’s out-of-wedlock child”, adding that it was unfair for Woo Young-woo if she had to hide herself because Tae Soo-mi, who suddenly interfered with her life.

Choi Sang-hyun came to visit Woo Young-woo. He told her all the truth and made a video to confess his crime. In fact, Choi Sang-hyun did the hacking all by himself at the order of Kim Chan-hong (Ryu Kyung-hwan), the co-representative of Raon. Choi Sang-hyun said, “I’ve heard the rumor that my mom had a child before she married my father”. He revealed that he hacked Tae Soo-mi’s cell phone and computer because of Tae Soo-mi’s suspicious behaviors and found out that Woo Young-woo was his half-sister.

Woo Young-woo wondered if she should help Choi Sang-hyun confess his crime because it was against his client’s interests, and then released the video to the attorneys at Hanbada. Han Sun-young thought of a way to reveal the truth of the case while protecting the interests of her client Kim Chan-hong. At that moment, Woo Young-woo pointed out the fact that Hanbada was the legal representative for Raon corporation, not Kim Chan-hong, saying “Raon’s interests do not conflict with the truth of the case”. She added that the customers’ personal information has not yet been leaked because Choi Sang-hyun already encrypted them.

On the day of the trial, after observers were sent out, a video of Choi Sang-hyun’s confession was released. Although the case seemed to have taken a new turn when Kim Chan-hong was dismissed as the CEO, the judge did not recognize Choi Sang-hyun’s confession video as relevant proof. In response, Hanbada tried to summon Choi Sang-hyun as a witness, but Tae Soo-mi tried to send Choi Sang-hyun to the United States. In response, when Han Sun-young intended to confront Tae Soo-mi with a public opinion battle, Woo Young-woo stepped up to persuade Tae Soo-mi herself.

Lee Joon-ho (played by Kang Tae-oh), who accompanied Woo Young-woo to persuade Tae Soo-mi, expressed his love is like “having a one-sided crush on a cat,” and confessed his sincerity by saying, “Let’s not break up.” Woo Young-woo replied to Lee Joon-ho, “The word ‘one-sided crush on a cat’ is inappropriate, because cats love their butlers too, so let’s not break up.” Woo Young-woo then visited Tae Soo-mi and persuaded her, saying, “You were not a good mother to me, but please be a good mother to Choi Sang-hyun,” and shed tears after Tae Soo-mi left.

Tae Soo-mi proceeded with the confirmation hearing as it was, and instead of sending Choi Sang-hyun as a witness, Woo Young-woo had Choi Sang-hyun questioned as a witness. Tae Soo-mi also attended the court where Choi Sang-hyun appeared as a witness. Choi Sang-hyun testified to all the facts in court, and Tae Soo-mi resigned herself as a candidate for justice minister with a public apology interview.

Woo Young-woo succeeded in renewing her contract with Hanbada and became a full-time lawyer for Hanbada. Woo Young-woo has passed through the revolving door of Hanbada and entered the building herself. Lee Joon-ho then welcomed Woo Young-woo, and Woo Young-woo finally said her feeling of the day is “being proud”.
