EXO Kai achieved 1st place in the voting to select the best dancer among idol groups’ main dancers.
A total of 150,000 people participated in the “Best Dancer” voting, which was held from April 24th to May 7th on the idol ranking service “My Love Idol”. Kai received 40,000 votes and took first place.
BTS‘ main dancers J-Hope and Jimin consistently collected votes within 2 weeks and came second and third. They were followed by EXO‘s main dancer Lay (No.4) and BLACKPINK‘s main dancer Lisa (No.5). Besides, idols designated as main dancers for their groups such as TWICE Momo, Seventeen Hoshi, Astro Rocky, TWICE Mina and MONSTA X Shownu were identified as candidates.
As a reward for first place, Kai’s official MV “Peaches” was posted as an advertisement.
Meanwhile, Kai attended the K-pop festival “K-pop Flex” held at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany on May 14th~15th (local time). The festival is a Hallyu event that introduces Korea’s various charms to about 80,000 Hallyu fans across Europe, including Germany. It promoted Korea by holding a K-pop concert featuring famous Korean artists such as EXO Kai and NCT Dream.
