Boy group EXO is still selling their new album well amid members Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin’s exclusive contract lawsuit.
According to K-POP platform Ktown4u, EXO’s new album, which will be released on July 10th, has recently exceeded 350,000 pre-orders in just 3 days after the start of the pre-order period.
This album is a new album after 2 years and 1 month since the special album “DON’T FIGHT THE FEELING” in June 2021. This is also EXO’s first full-length album in 3 years and 8 months since their 6th album “OBSESSION” in November 2019.
Currently, EXO Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin are in a legal battle against SM Entertainment, stating that SM did not disclose the settlement data transparently and forced a slave contract. They filed a complaint against SM to the Fair Trade Commission for “abuse of superior position”. SM Entertainment is claiming that a third party intervened and misled the members.
