On June 15, D.O.’s agency Blitzway Entertainment confirmed to Newsen, “Do Kyung Soo is planning to release a new solo album in August.”
If the August release schedule remains unchanged, the comeback will mark D.O.’s return to solo promotions approximately one year and one month after his previous release. The artist previously dropped his first full-length solo album, BLISS, in July last year.
Alongside his solo comeback, D.O. is also set to hold a solo fan meeting in Japan on August 16, further exciting fans eagerly awaiting his return.
Before resuming solo activities, D.O. has been actively promoting with fellow EXO members. The group recently released new music and is currently touring both domestically and internationally through the concert series EXO PLANET #6 – EXhOrizon.
The tour kicked off in April with performances at KSPO DOME in Seoul’s Songpa District and has since successfully traveled through Ho Chi Minh City, Nagoya, Taipei, Bangkok, Macau, Osaka, and Jakarta. Additional shows are still scheduled for Manila, Tokyo, Kaohsiung, and Singapore in July.
D.O. is also continuing his variety show activities. He is set to appear on tvN’s new program GBRB: Farm Operation – Go Go Farm, which premieres on June 19 at 8:35 PM KST.
