EXID member & actress Hani will appear on “Heo Young-man’s Food Travel”
TV Chosun’s “Heo Young-man’s Food Travel” new broadcast, scheduled to air on December 15th, will show Heo Young-man and Hani leaving in search of a meal in Cheorwon, Gangwon-do.
Apart from her 12 years of singing career, Hani has been active as an actress in various dramas, movies and plays. She confessed, “During EXID activities, I needed to find and look at the camera all the time. So there were many times when the directors shook their hands because I still got the habit of finding cameras when acting”. Hani will talk more about the similarities and differences between being an idol and being an actress.
Hani also revealed that she almost couldn’t debut, stimulating curiosity about what happened. The EXID member said she was a JYP trainee and was selected to debut but her mother strongly opposed it, saying “There’s no possibility that you can make it”. Making her debut after various difficulties, her group kept facing failures every time they released an album so she promised to endure it for only 3 years. In the end, EXID could finally gain recognition after their song climbed back on chart.
In the meantime, Hani, who is known for her lovely visual, surprised everyone when she said her nickname was “bald eagle”. She explained, “My fans always call me ‘brother (hyung)’ regardless of their age or gender”, making viewers question the reason behind the nickname.
Hani visited a makguksu restaurant near Goseokjeong, one of the most famous places in Cheorwon, that day. In particular, the “makguksu eating method” that captivated Hani will be revealed in the new episode at 8 p.m. on December 15th.
