“Ex-husband” Wang Xiaofei congratulated Barbie Hsu on her marriage to DJ Koo, “I wish you happiness”

The ex-husband of Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, who recently announced her remarriage to “DJ Koo” Koo Jun-yup, posted a message wishing the two’s happiness.

On March 12th, Barbie Hsu’s ex-husband Wang Xiaofei said on his Weibo, “Everyone has started to live a new life. I wish Barbie Hsu happiness”. This is the first time Wang Xiaofei has made an official position on Barbie Hsu and Koo Jun-yup’s marriage.

Wang Xiaofei is a second-generation owner of a Chinese conglomerate. Barbie Hsu and Wang Xiaofei married in 2010 and divorced in 2021. The two have an 8-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son.

Wang Xiaofei also denied local reports that claimed his divorce from Barbie Hsu was due to an affair. He said, “No one else is related to my divorce”. Earlier, local media raised rumors of Wang Xiaofei having an affair by releasing photos of Chinese actress Zhang Yingying coming to Wang Xiaofei’s house after he divorced.

Meanwhile, Koo Jun-yup announced his marriage to Barbie Hsu through Instagram on March 8th, saying, “I’m going to continue my love for the woman whom I loved but couldn’t tie the knot with 20 years ago”. He said, “When I heard about her divorced, I tried to find her phone number 20 years ago and contacted her. Luckily, she kept the same number, so we were able to be connected again”, adding, “Many years have passed. I proposed to her because I could no longer waste this chance. She also accepted it and we decided to love together after completing our marriage registration.”

On the same day, Barbie Hsu also shared Koo Jun-yup‘s writing through social media and said, “Life is not forever, and I cherish my remaining happiness. “I’m grateful for everything you have done to come to me step by step.” Koo Joon-yup and Barbie Hsu reportedly met in the early 2000s when Clon was active in Taiwan and dated for about a year. Barbie Hsu is a top Taiwanese actress who played the main role in the Taiwanese version of the drama “Boys Over Flowers.”

Koo Joon-yup left for Taiwan on March 9th to meet his wife. Some said that the hotel Koo Joon-yup arrived in Taiwan and entered for self-isolation was owned by Barbie Hsu’s ex-husband Wang Xiaofei, which she confirmed was not true.
