On May 22, an anonymous account on X shared multiple photos and claims alleging that EVAN (Heeseung) is dating a non-celebrity woman.
The initial post included a blurred image of a woman standing with a man in the background, whom online users speculated could be EVAN based on similarities to profile photos and previous images associated with the former idol.
Additional photos later surfaced showing a man partially appearing in various backgrounds, with the account continuing to insist the individual was EVAN.
The controversy escalated further when the anonymous poster claimed that the alleged girlfriend is followed by one of EVAN’s acquaintances, who had previously uploaded photos with him online.
The account also accused the woman of “showing off” the relationship indirectly on social media while fans continued defending the former idol online.
One post from the account read: “While fans are out here fighting for Lee Heeseung, he’s spending time with his girlfriend and ignoring them.”
The anonymous user additionally claimed to possess even more evidence related to the alleged relationship.
As discussions spread rapidly across X and Korean online communities, reactions among fans quickly became divided.
Some users argued that the so-called evidence appeared weak and largely based on speculation, while others questioned whether fans were overanalyzing ordinary social media interactions and background photos.
Meanwhile, another portion of netizens criticized the invasion of privacy surrounding the situation, pointing out that none of the allegations have been officially confirmed.
As of now, neither EVAN nor any related representatives have publicly addressed the rumors.
