Eun Ji Won mentioned his ex-wife.
In the latest episode of MBN’s “Passionate Goodbye,” which aired on Nov 14th, Min Ji Young and Kim Hyung Kyun, who have been married for 5 years, appeared as guests and shared their stories.
During the episode, Eun Ji Won left in a car with Eugene to go grocery shopping. Eun then said about Min Ji Young, “The wife seems to like her husband a lot. It’s like looking at my ex-wife. They give off a very similar atmosphere,” he said.
“My ex-wife is a former judo player. Back in Hawaii, when fighting with the men there, she came and beat everyone up,” he recalled. “I met my first love again after 13 years and got married.“
As for the reason for their breakup, he said, “We only thought about the past. We couldn’t accept the changes. We ended our relationship on good terms, admitting that what we had wasn’t right. We agreed to go back to our original state before we felt bad about each other,” he explained.
Eun Ji Won said he and his ex-wife had been in touch with each other steadily after the divorce, adding, “We spent two years like friends. I don’t contact her anymore because I thought what we did wasn’t for the future. I don’t contact her anymore.“
Eugene said, “If it’s American style, it doesn’t matter even if you guys continue to be friends with each other,” but Eun Ji Won added, “It’s rude to our new partners.“
Eun Ji Won married his girlfriend in 2010. However, the news of their breakup was soon reported in 2012. The two reportedly broke up after maintaining a de facto marriage relationship.
