Epik High’s Tablo mentioned Kim Hee-chul’s sadness in his rumored boyfriend Mithra Jin’s wedding
Past dating rumors of Epik High’s Mithra Jin and Super Junior’s Kim Hee-chul have been mentioned again.
On JTBC’s variety program “Knowing Bros,” which aired on February 12, Epik High members recalled the situation at the time of Mithra Jin’s marriage.
Lee Soo-geun expressed his curiosity by asking, “There was a rumor that you two (Hee-chul and Mithra Jin) were dating?” and Seo Jang-hoon jokingly asked, “Is Hee-chul your ex-girlfriend?” In response, Lee Soo-geun tactfully responded, “No. Mithra Jin could be his ex-girlfriend.”
Then, Hee-chul said, “Do you remember I was at the after party? Why didn’t you mention me? I went to the wedding and hung out,” he said, expressing his disappointment, to which Tablo testified, “You didn’t have so much fun.” Mithra Jin added, “You seemed a little sad.”
Tablo said, “Me and DJ Tukutz hosted the wedding that day, and I saw everything. Kim Hee-chul was the only one standing so noticeably serious. He didn’t smile even when the bride and groom left and sprinkled flowers,” he said, reenacting the situation at the time.
Seo Jang-hoon expressed his doubts, saying, “Why did you like him so much?” and Kim Hee-chul said, “I never imagined Mithra would get married. I loved him as a friend. Because he was always next to me. We were really best friends,” he expressed his honest feelings.
After Tukutz explained, “Hee-chul looked gloomy at the wedding”, Kang Ho-dong asked, “Did you two (Hee-chul and Mithra Jin) become a little awkward with each other after you (Mithra Jin) got married?”. Tablo then said, “There might have been a misunderstanding. On the day he went to meet Hee-chul, he lied to us. They met secretly”. Tukutz also added, “He also told me that he had a family event”.
Hee-chul confessed, “I was about to go to the hair salon today but then suddenly heard that Mithra was also coming, so I did my hair before coming there. I also wore my hat down”, making everyone laugh.
Upon hearing Kang Ho-dong jokingly said, “This is not something that his wife can just laugh about”, Hee-chul replied, “I know Mithra better than his wife does. I think I would also feel really sad if Kyung-hoon gets married”.
Lee Soo-geun continued, “Maybe he won’t tell us when he gets married?”. Seo Jang-hoon also enjoyed making fun of Min Kyung-hoon, “I think he would get married then come back here”, drawing laughter.
