On January 27 and 28, ENHYPEN held 2 nights of concerts in Macau as part of their world tour FATE”. However, after the concerts ended, fans started to worry as they discovered threats directed at ENHYPEN’s Heeseung.
In particular, Chinese anti-fans had been spamming threatening words at Heeseung both before and after the concerts. Additionally, some antis (both Chinese and non-Chinese) would go quiet whenever Heeseung appeared on stage while cheering for other members, at the same time cursing and insulting Heeseung throughout the show.
A Chinese fan even revealed that these people “rolled their eyes when Heeseung appears”, called Heeseung a “mule”, and eyed those who bias the male idols.
Heeseung’s tags on Chinese SNS platforms also became flooded with malicious edits and face-shaming comments, said other fans.
According to Chinese fans, Heeseung is the most popular member in China. However, due to the Chinese stan culture, most people only like one member and hate others, causing Heeseung to be a major target of other members’ “toxic solo stans”.
At the moment, fans are showing worries that Heeseung will be able to see the toxic words, as well as calling for his protection.
