IVE An Yu-jin revealed that she would show her friendly side on tvN’s entertainment show “Earth Arcade”.
On June 20th, the online press conference of tvN’s entertainment show “Earth Arcade” was held. PD Na Young-seok, PD Park Hyun-yong, Lee Eun-ji, Oh My Girl Mimi, Lee Young-ji and IVE An Yu-jin attended.
Mimi, who is known to be the most shy among Oh My Girl members, said, “It’s the first time I appear alone on a show. ‘Earth Arcade’ is a big program, so I was nervous at first. However, when I looked around, I wondered what to worry about with such a good environment and great members. I thought it would flow naturally, but it was merged at some point. That’s how my true self was revealed.”
Lee Young-ji confessed, “There was a time when various shyness went to mannerism.” She raised expectations by signaling, “There’ll be scenes that we see for the first time in Korea.” She also hinted, “PDs put us in a concrete-like worldview. I felt like director Bong Joon-ho.”
An Yu-jin shared her thoughts, “I wondered whether I should show a pretty image as an idol or a comfortable image that PDs want. But when I went to Thailand, my comfortable image was naturally revealed. Viewers will also be able to see my friendly side, not like on stage.” Regarding this, PD Na Young-seok made everyone laugh as he said, “You say as if you did it because you wanted it, but it came out naturally.”
“Earth Arcade” is a new concept hybrid multiverse action-adventure variety show in which four warriors gathered to catch the moon rabbits who fled to Earth across time and space. It will premiere at 8:50 p.m. on June 24th.
