Former WINNER member Nam Tae Hyun has been sent to prosecution on charges of drinking under influence (DUI).
According to the police on April 13th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul sent Nam Tae Hyun to the prosecution on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act on March 23rd.
In particular, at around 3:30 AM (KST) on the morning of March 8th, Nam Tae Hyun caused an accident by hitting a taxi’s side mirror while moving his car, which was blocking the vehicle of his acquaintances, for 5 meter
Afterwards, police alcohol tests revealed that Nam Tae Hyun had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.114%, exceeding the license cancellation level of 0.08%.
As a result, police summoned and investigated Nam Tae Hyun and judged that he had committed drunk driving, and sent him to the prosecution.
Nam Tae Hyun later posted on his SNS, “There is no excuse for my careless judgment that led to this mistake, and I am so ashamed”, adding, “I will accept criticism, reflect on my actions, anđ repent”.
