“Dream” IU, “I took director Lee Byeong Heon’s way of speaking as a reference to portray the role of a PD”

IU revealed how she portrayed her character in the new film “Dream”.

On April 17th, IU attended the press conference for the movie “Dream” (directed by Lee Byeong Heon) held at Megabox COEX in Gangnam, Seoul together with actor Park Seo Joon and the director.

When asked, “Did you have any character references to play the role of passionless PD So Min?”, IU responded, “Director Lee Byeong Heon is very careful and meticulous in directing the dialogue tones of each character”, adding “In order to become the So Min that he wanted, I referred to his way of speaking and voice tone the most.”
