The actors who led the “Dr. Romantic” series to great success have reunited in Season 3.
SBS’s drama “Dr. Romantic 3”, which will premiere on the 28th of this month, depicts the story of a “real doctor” at the small and shabby Doldam Hospital in the countryside. Both Season 1 (2016) and Season 2 (2020) broke the rating record by exceeding 27%, raising high expectations for its comeback after three years with Season 3.
Above all, viewers are anticipated to meet the actors who join Season 3 to continue the story of Doldam Hospital.
After releasing still cuts of Han Suk Kyu (as Kim Sa Bu), Ahn Hyo Seop (as Seo Woo Jin), Lee Sung Kyung (as Cha Eun Jae), and Kim Min Jae (as Park Eun Tak), the production team also unveiled the appearances of actors who will appear as Doldam Hospital family members in Season 3, including Jin Kyung, Lim Won Hee, Byun Woo Min, Kim Joo Heon, Yoon Na Moo, Shin Dong Wook, So Joo Yeon, Go Sang Ho, Yoon Bo Ra, and Jung Ji An.
Fans are very happy to welcome the return of the original members who have been with Doldam Hospital since Season 1.
They are Jin Kyung, who plays the invincible head nurse Oh Myung Shim, Lim Won Hee, who portrays the sharp-eyed manager Jang Ki Tae, and Byun Woo Min, who appears as the warm-hearted freelancer anesthesiologist Nam Do Il. The stories of Doldam Hospital will be filled with these actors’ solid acting skills, as well as their witty humor and chemistry.
There is also director Park Min Guk, who tried to discipline Doldam Hospital people in Season 2 but ended up coexisting with them. This character will continue to be played by Kim Joo Heon.
In Season 2, Park Min Guk had a confrontation with Kim Sa Bu but eventually joined forces with him and revealed his determination to establish a trauma center. Therefore, many people are curious about the performance of this character in Season 3. Go Sang Ho, who plays Park Min Guk’s loyal assistant Yang Ho Joon, is also expected to become a scene-stealer.
In addition, those who try to protect Doldam Hospital from endless incidents cannot be left out. “Dr. Jung” Jung In Soo (Yoon Na Moo), who is in charge of the emergency room, “Dr. Bone” Bae Moon Jung (Shin Dong Wook), who loves bones more than anything else, emergency medicine resident Yoon Ah Reum (So Joo Yeon) with positive energy, nurse Joo Young Mi (Yoon Bo Ra), who knows everything at Doldam Hospital, and emergency nurse Uhm Hyun Jung (Jung Ji Ahn), who dreams of becoming the second Oh Myung Shim, will add more fun to the drama and captivate viewers with their amazing teamwork.
