Actress Suzy and actor Yang Se-jong unfold a fresh romance between an idol and a college student
On Oct 4th, Netflix unveiled the main poster and trailer for the upcoming series “Doona!” (directed by Lee Jeong-hyo). Both the poster and trailer capture the blossoming feelings between Doona (Suzy) and Won-jun (Yang Se-jong), who cannot help but fall for each other.
In the main poster, the two are shown crossing the line from housemates to something more. Doona approaches with her eyes closed while Won-jun reveals his complex emotions, uncertain of Doona’s heart.
The trailer is all about youthful romance. Doona firmly declares, “I won’t fall for you. I’ll never fall for you.” However, despite her resolve, the two inevitably find themselves falling for each other.
Won-jun starts to experience unfamiliar butterflies in his stomach when he is around Doona. Both his ordinary daily life and heart become disorganized. He confesses, “I can’t help wanting more.”
“Doona!” is a romance drama. It depicts the story of the ordinary college student Lee Won-jun and his meeting with Lee Doona, who retired after leaving behind her glamorous Kpop idol days and becomes his housemate. It is based on a webtoon.
“Doona!” will be available on Netflix starting from Oct 20th.
