On March 31, Dok2 shared a screenshot on his Instagram Story with the caption, “Something like this from my old Twitter,” revealing posts he had written years ago on Twitter (now X).
According to the posts, Dok2 expressed his admiration for Lee Hi as early as 2012. He had written messages such as “Lee Hi is the best,” “Lee Hi is amazing,” and “Lee Hi No.1 is the best,” showcasing his long-standing fanboy affection.
The resurfaced posts quickly drew attention, especially after Dok2 and Lee Hi recently confirmed their romantic relationship. On March 28, following dating rumors, the couple officially acknowledged that they are together. They also announced the release of their first single “You & Me” under their jointly established label, 808 HI RECORDINGS.
Interestingly, Dok2 and Lee Hi first crossed paths back in 2016 through the variety show Infinite Challenge. At the time, Lee Hi collaborated with Yoo Jae Suk and Dok2 on the track “Hommage” as a featured artist. Since then, the two have maintained a musical connection that has now blossomed into a romantic relationship.
