In episode 11 of Doctor Cha, the female lead continuously faces challenges as all the secrets are exposed.
Episode 11 of Doctor Cha begins with a scene where Jung Sook (Uhm Jung Hwa) and Sora (Jo Aram) enjoy the rain together on a convertible car, allowing Jung Sook to temporarily forget her troubles. However, upon returning to her room, Jung Sook collapses and breaks down in a pitiful state after discovering that her daughter knows about her husband’s affair and illegitimate child. Unexpectedly, Sora comes back to find Jung Sook and even brings along some drinks. Sora then confides in Jung Sook about knowing Professor In Ho’s (Kim Byung Chul) infidelity and shares her childhood story of her father betraying her mother. After this conversation, Jung Sook opens up to Sora, revealing that she knows Sora is in love with her son and acknowledging that the two look good together.
After facing such a massive shock, Jung Sook goes to her husband’s office and throws the bracelet back at him. The next day, she proactively meets both Seung Hi and her husband, confronting them about the situation. Despite being caught by his wife, In Ho still tries to explain and rationalize his actions. He also reveals that both of their children already knew about the affair but asked him to keep it a secretg. Meanwhile, Jung Sook demands that Seung Hi quit her job if she doesn’t want things to escalate further. Seung Hi, naturally, refuses, especially when she sees her daughter suffering from a broken arm just before her college entrance exams, so she arranges another meeting and scolds Jung Sook.
After the confrontation with Seung Hi, Jung Sook returns to the hospital dormitory, feeling exhausted. That night, there is an electrical fire, but Jung Sook remains oblivious in her deep sleep. Upon hearing the news, Dr. Roy Kim rushes to save her. As he carries Jung Sook out of the dormitory room, he encounters In Ho, so he reluctantly allows Jung Sook to go with her husband. However, Jung Sook is not moved at all when she sees In Ho rushing to rescue her. In fact, she even thinks that In Ho came because he was worried about Seung Hi.
Episode 11 concludes with continuous arguments between Roy Kim and In Ho. In fact, towards the end of the episode, they even engage in a fight in the hospital because both of them want to keep Jung Sook by their side. Despite such comedic and dramatic developments, the ratings for this episode have dropped significantly, from 18% to only 16.2%.
