As of 6 a.m. on the 30th, when attempting to access Koo’s account, a message stating “This page is unavailable” appears, along with a note that “The link you clicked may be broken, or the page has been removed.”
According to Taiwanese media outlet ETtoday on the 29th (local time), his wife, Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu (Hsu Hsi-Yuan, 47), clarified that Koo Jun Yup didn’t close his social media account but was hacked.
Hsu’s side stated, “We are actively contacting Instagram and hope to regain access to the account as soon as possible.”
Koo Jun Yup had announced his marriage to Barbie Hsu in 2022 through his social media. The two first met at Taiwanese singer Hsiao Hsuan’s concert in 1998 and dated for about a year in the early 2000s.
Though they eventually broke up, Koo reconnected with Hsu after her divorce last year, leading to their reunion and marriage. Following their marriage, Koo traveled to Taiwan to be with Hsu, completing a quarantine stay in a hotel before living together.
