The Environment and Labor Committee reportedly decided on 35 witnesses and references for the next audit. Hanni was selected as a reference, and ADOR CEO Kim as a witness. This is in relation to issues involving idol bullying and workplace harassment.
Previously, on Sep 11th, Hanni revealed during a YouTube live broadcast that while waiting at HYBE’s office, she greeted another celebrity and their manager, but the manager allegedly said “ignore her“.
Hanni also shared that she reported the incident to CEO Kim, stating, “I was told it was too late and that there was no evidence, and seeing how they wanted to just move on from it, I realized there was no one left to protect us.”
Accordingly, CEO Kim will testify regarding inadequate responses to idol bullying. Hanni is expected to speak on the issue of workplace harassment. The audit is scheduled for Oct 25th.
However, despite being selected, they can choose not to attend by submitting a valid reason. In the case of witnesses, the committee may issue a subpoena if deemed necessary.
