The hottest participants gathered to navigate through both hell and paradise in ‘Single’s Inferno 3’
On December 4th, the press conference of Netflix’s reality dating show ‘Single’s Inferno 3’ took place. In attendance were PDs Kim Jaewon and Kim Junghyun, comedian Hong Jinkyung, Dex, actress Lee Dahee, singer Kyuhyun, rapper Hanhae, and others.
Season 1 of ‘Single’s Inferno‘ ranked No.4 in the global TOP 10 TV shows on Netflix, making it the first Korean entertainment program to achieve this. Season 2 continued to receive much love from viewers, even surpassing the cumulative viewing time of Season 1.
Dex, who appeared as a cast member in Season 2, joins as a host for Season 3.
Director Kim Jaewon said, “While directing ‘Single’s Inferno’, I used to describe it as the ‘hottest hell on earth.’ With Dex joining, it seems like he has truly brought that to life. With Dex as a host this season, the show has lived up to its description.”
Director Kim Jaewon raised expectations by revealing, “Many viewers felt that Season 2 was too similar to Season 1. So, we changed a lot for Season 3. New rules have been introduced in Season 3. Couples went to paradise on the first day they met. There’s another hidden rule, and we’ve prepared it confidently. Please watch it on the broadcast.”
In Season 3, basketball player Lee Kwanhee makes an appearance. Lee Kwanhee, who gained attention for his voice in the preview, radiated tremendous charm on the show.
Hanhae commented, “It felt like Lee Kwanhee wasn’t in hell. He was truly charming. I’ve watched a lot of dating shows, but there hasn’t been a participant like him.”
Dex remarked, “From my perspective as a flirting expert, the flirting this season seemed a bit too fast.” He emphasized, “In Season 2, there wasn’t anything direct. But Season 3 was a series of direct and bold situations.”
Dex added, “Season 2 was ‘subtle flirting,’ but in Season 3, the flirting is like ‘I’m intentionally going to mess with you’. The atmosphere was very different from Season 2.”
Hong Jinkyung urged viewers, “You will see a raw and delicate emotional spectrum. If you truly want to know what real love is, I recommend tuning in for ‘Single’s Inferno 3.’ You won’t regret it.”
‘Single’s Inferno 3’ will be released on Netflix on December 12th.
