According to the woman, Francisca Karollainy Barbosa Cavalcante, the Brazilian court has issued a restraining order to prevent Luiz from contacting her after he allegedly sent her a series of frightening messages. The woman provided screenshots of the messages to authorities, which reportedly show Luiz warning her about his “money and power” and that her son could “suffer the consequences.”
The accusations state that David Luiz messaged Cavalcante, “I can make you disappear easily.” She also claims he threatened to kill her son if she went public with their private interactions.
The David Luiz scandal began after the two met on social media. Cavalcante claims she ended their relationship when Luiz made an “indecent proposal” for a threesome. Following her rejection, the footballer allegedly offered her 100,000 Brazilian reais (approximately £14,000) to keep quiet. When she refused the money, she claims the threats began.
David Luiz has denied all allegations of threatening behavior. His representatives have only confirmed that he and Cavalcante exchanged messages. The defender, who is married with two daughters, has recently moved to Cypriot club Pafos.
