Dating Rumors between Ex-April’s Lee Naeun and Soccer Star Lee Kangin Surfaced as Soon as the New Year Began

While Lee Naeun’s side denied the dating rumors, various keywords related to her flooded Korean social media, YouTube, and portal sites.

Lee Naeun debuted as a member of April in August 2015, gaining love and interest for her outstanding visuals.  

She expanded her career as an actress, starring in the web drama ‘A-Teen’ in 2018, and later broadened her presence in the entertainment industry through TV dramas, commercials, and various TV shows as an MC and guest.

During this time, former April member Lee Hyun-joo exposed allegations of group bullying during their active years.

Following the revelation, restrictions were imposed on the activities of Lee Naeun and other April members. Despite the official denial by DSP Media, April’s agency, and the members themselves, the controversy persisted, resulting in some members, including Lee Naeun, dropping out of multiple advertisements and dramas.

In January 2022, a year after the controversy, April officially announced their disbandment. Lee Naeun expressed her gratitude to the members and fans in a long letter, acknowledging the challenging situation. 

In June of the same year, she signed an exclusive contract with Namoo Actors and announced her return to acting with a new mindset and determination.

Lee Naeun is set to appear in SBS’s drama ‘Flex x Cop,’ scheduled to premiere on January 26th. As she steps back into the spotlight after about three years, many are eager to see the reactions to Lee Naeun’s comeback.
