“Daily Dose of Sunshine” Park Bo-young “I followed nurses around with notes”

Park Bo-young and Lee Jung-eun put in active efforts for their nurse characters in “Daily Dose of Sunshine”

On the morning of Nov 1st, the press conference of Netflix’s original series “Daily Dose of Sunshine” was held at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Actors Park Bo-young, Yeon Woo-jin, Jang Dong-yoon, Lee Jung-eun and director Lee Jae-kyoo attended the event.

“Daily Dose of Sunshine” centers on Jung Da-eun, a skilled nurse in the Psychiatric Department, and her interactions with the patients under her care.

Park Bo-young and Lee Jung-eun, who play nurses in the Psychiatric Department, received significant assistance from the nurses at the Catholic University of Korea Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital.

Park Bo-young shared, “They provided an environment for me to visit in person. I followed them around with notes.

She went on to say, “They sent me videos of the intravenous injection process, so I could continue to memorize it at home. They also came to the set a lot, making sure there was nothing wrong, and provided advice.

She expressed her gratitude, “If I looked like a nurse, it was all thanks to Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital nurses. Thank you so much.”

Lee Jung-eun also mentioned, “We went and conducted many surveys in person. I received active support from the chief nurse. Especially, since there’s a lot of administrative work, I received advice on documents and tasks.”

“Daily Dose of Sunshine” will be released on Netflix on Nov 3rd.
