“I felt a lot of things after rewatching season 1 recently“
On July 18th, Son Seok Gu said at the press conference of “D.P. 2″ (D.P. Season 2), “I was impressed by the acting of fellow actors who played their characters well, even though we’re all actors.”
Son Seok Gu continued, “I was moved and reflected on myself while watching my colleagues’ acting. Please look forward to the actors’ enthusiastic performances.”
He shared, “In season 1, I told the director, ‘Let’s see what kind of character will come out according to the scene rather than making a single character.’ However, in season 2, there was something I wanted to express through Im Ji Sup.”
He confessed, “I wanted to act out the word ‘responsibility’. Im Ji Sup is the right person to express ‘responsibility’. In season 1, he was the most distant from ‘responsibility’.“
He added, “I wanted to show you that he can change while feeling the journey of how he’ll grow and find himself. This process was very enjoyable.”
“D.P.” Season 2 tells the story of a team of Korean military police with their mission to catch deserters. It will premiere on July 28th.
